Continuing on from yesterdays post I carried on working on the ice structures whislt watching TV last night and managed to base them and cover the edges with artex to disgiuse the card.
One I topped with card and the second with artex, will see when painted which I think works best. The artex one was a lot quicker, got to be considered :-)
Also spent an age undercoating the penultimate 2 buildings, this is the longest part of the painting process and its the place where the free corrugated card does not helpat all. Getting the paint down the edges is mind blowingly boring, I literally hate leaving the edges unpainted as you can see in some of these pictures..... so more to do!
